PHOENICIA, Sidon. 107/6 BC-AD 43/4. AR Shekel – Tetradrachm (28mm, 13.19 g, 12h). Dated CY 80 (32/1 BC). Turreted, veiled, and draped bust of Tyche right; palm frond over shoulder, X to left / Eagle standing left on prow; palm frond behind; L Π (date) across field, monogram to right. Levy p. 330, b; RPC I 4554; HGC 10, 277; BMC 107 var. (X between eagle's legs); SNG Copenhagen 228 var. (no X on obv., monogram to left on rev.); Prieur 1345. Lightly toned, some die wear, slightly off center on reverse. Near VF.
